Travel Grants

To encourage more young students to join the 2024 IMC for their better learning experiences and future academic development, the local committee has decided that registration fee is waived for all students and they will also receive the travel grants.

Travel grants for 100 students:

Chinese recipients ¥2500 each person
Foreign recipients $ 1000 each person

IMI Announcement

“The International Myopia Institute (IMI) will be awarding IMC travel grants for myopia research undertaken in under-resourced regions with a low evidence base. Eligible regions include Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. The presenter and first author must be from the country where the research is undertaken. IMI will provide $1000 USD per recipient and IMC will waive registration for successful applicants. Applications can be made during the submission process by indicating “yes” under “travel grant.”

Note: Part of 100 students who receive the travel grants will be awarded by IMI.
