Registration Fee Policy

There is a special discount for participants from Low and middle income countries. Please the following link to find out if the fee would be applicable for you: Worldbank-low and middle income countries. An upload of the proof of your residency is required when applying for this fee.
The registration fee includes lunch (25th, 26th, 27th, 28th), gala dinner (24th evening), outdoor banquet dinner (25th evening).
IMC Travel grants for 100 students:
To encourage more young students to join the 2024 IMC for their better learning experiences and future academic development, the local committee has decided that registration fee is waived for all students and 100 students will also receive the travel grants. The organizer would also provide accommodations for all the students.

- Your abstract must be submitted and approved before deadline when you apply for the travel grants.
- An upload of a copy of your student card or a letter from your supervisor/University, stated that you are a student during the time of 2024 IMC conference, is required when applying for waiving the registration fee and acquiring the travel grants.

IMI Travel Grant for Sub-Saharan African and Latin American Participants
“The International Myopia Institute (IMI) will be awarding IMC travel grants for myopia research undertaken in under-resourced regions with a low evidence base. Eligible regions include Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. The presenter and first author must be from the country where the research is undertaken. IMI will provide $1500 USD per recipient and IMC will provide accommodation and waive registration for successful applicants. Applications can be made during the submission process by indicating “yes” under “travel grant.”
Note: Part of 100 students who receive the travel grants will be awarded by IMI.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Notification of cancellation of registration must be sent by email to IMC@aierchina.com.
For cancellations received up to and including 25 July 2024 (2 months before conference), a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged.
For cancellations received on and after 25 July 2024 (2 months before conference), no refund will be given, full amount required.
A handling fee of USD 40 per registration will be charged for every modification received after 25 July 2024 (2 months before conference).
All refunds will be processed after the event.
Please note that we can only provide you with an invitation letter for IMC 2024 after we received your registration and payment. After the payment you may request a letter of invitation by contacting the IMC 2024 Conference secretariat at: IMC@aierchina.com.
We accept payments by credit card and bank transfer. We cannot accept payment by check nor debt card. Any additional fees (e.g., bank charges) are at own expense. Payment of the applicable registration fee must be made withir14 days after registration and at least before July 15 otherwise the onsite registration fee applies.
